We were lucky enough to help Baker find her dream wedding dress last year and now she’s back! She had a gorgeous wedding and is starting a video series showing other brides some of her wedding dress styling tips. Check out her video of a quick tour of London and Lace complete with up-close looks at the new Alexandra Grecco collection and exclusive wedding gowns from Landon Roes.

We began with Moonlight, a Landon Roes original, that was handmade right here in the shop! The beading was all sewn on by hand and the lace is hand-painted to add little sparks of color and dimension. Our southern brides love a deep, open back to keep them cool because it is HOT around here. Our brides get married outside in Columbia, Charleston, Savannah, etc.. and even the autumn weddings can still be scorchers so we are picky about making sure our dresses are light and breathable.

The next two looks are from the Alexandra Grecco trunk show. They first is from her new Magic Hour Collection and it definitely screams “Magic!” The beaded caplet is such a unique touch of drama with a high-low skirt that allows your wedding shoes to have a moment of their very own. The second look is a bridal jumpsuit with a beaded leotard underneath to give it funky pearl accents. It is a great option for a brunch wedding, elopemens, the going- away look, or even a cool rehearsal dinner.

The final dress is another handmade gown by Landon Roes. This one’s name is Cypress and it is a wedding gown inspired by the California national parks and forests. It has a circle back detail that is reminiscent of the look when you are driving down coastal backroad and the Cypress trees form a tunnel all around you. Fully beaded, but with a light flutter sleeve, this dress is a perfect balance of sweet and strong.

Tune in next time for more beauty with Baker!!
